Following on the wild success of Tails of Hope 2025, The SBC Animal Care Foundation is delighted to host Tails of Hope 2026, with all the same elements that made it such a hit last year -- and more!

Join us on Sunday, September 20 from 2-5 pm at Rancho La Patera Stow House in Goleta.

Set amidst graceful trees, with the backdrop of an historic ranch home, guests will be treated to an afternoon of fun in the sun, all to benefit the thousands of animals helped by Santa Barbara County Animal Services each year. In addition to wine from La Lieff Winery, beer from Draughstmen Aleworks, and nibbles from Solera & Co., guests will have a chance to:

• Browse a rich selection at our silent auction 

• Admire the bubbles and music of The Bubble Guy and the acoustic guitar of Charlie Clouse

• Snuggle with adoptable shelter animals

• Experience a tarot reading

• Meet our rescue partners and learn about their work

• And more!

The afternoon culminates in a program featuring celebrity emcees John Corbett (“Sex & the City,” “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”), Bo Derek (“10,” “Tommy Boy”) and Animal Planet star Shorty Rossi (“Pitboss”). Beloved auctioneer Jim Nye will be back, and guests will have a range of exciting items to bid on.

All donations are tax-deductible, and benefit the animals served by Animal Services and The SBC Animal Care Foundation!
