A Special Outdoor Fundraiser Benefitting Santa Barbara County’s Shelter Animals

Tails of Hope is not just a fundraiser — it's a heartwarming celebration of second chances, wagging tails, and the magic that happens when a community comes together for animals in need. Hosted by Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation and benefiting Santa Barbara County Animal Services, this is the first countywide event of its kind — and you’re invited to be a part of it!

Every shelter animal has a story — some adventurous, some tender, and all in need of a happy ending. With your help, we can turn each tale into a Tale of Hope — one filled with belly rubs, purrs, and forever homes.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon featuring inspiring animal stories, special appearances by award-winning actors and passionate animal advocates, live music that stirs the soul, delicious bites to delight the senses, the chance to bid on fabulous items and experiences during our auction, and so much more, all in support of our four-legged friends.

You’ll also have the chance to meet adoptable animals, connect with local rescue partners, and mingle with fellow animal lovers from all corners of the county.

Most importantly, Tails of Hope raises critical awareness and funds to support the shelter animals who rely on us for safety, healing, and love — until they find a family of their own.
