In partnership with C. Eaton Photography, the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation is happy to announce its Critters of the Central Coast Pet Calendar Contest for 2026. Proceeds from the calendar sales and photo contest will assist the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation in saving the lives of Santa Barbara County's most vulnerable shelter animals.
We encourage you to submit a favorite photo of your pets, then ask your family, friends, and co-workers to vote for them! Please review the contest rules carefully for submission guidelines; those who do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees for photo entries and votes will help the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation raise precious lifesaving funds.
Your pet could be one of 13 stars featured in our 2026 calendar, photographed at some of the most beautiful and historic spots in Santa Barbara County.

Photos with Santa is a festive annual event hosted by the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation, where pets and their families can take holiday-themed photos with Santa. Proceeds support local animal welfare programs, making it a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the season while helping animals in need.
Old Orcutt Christmas Tree Stroll
Join us at the annual Old Orcutt Christmas Tree Stroll & Tree Lighting. The Stroll takes place all over town and the tree lighting is at the Orcutt Lions Club at 7pm with performances from community members before and after the lighting. We are honored to be the first non-profit organization to be featured at this year’s event in Old Orcutt. Stop by our booth and learn more about our work and the impact it has on the county’s most vulnerable animals. Animal Services will be there as well with some adoptable pups! See you there!
