Bobby's Story

Bobby

Bobby was hit by a car and unable to walk on his hind legs when he was surrendered to the shelter. He was immediately transported to PETS ER for further examination. Due to his symptoms, there was concern whether his condition was a result of a pelvic fracture or nerve damage. His x-rays revealed multiple fractures throughout his pelvis and even a dislocation of the base of his tail. After a few days, Bobby was able to go in for pelvic fracture repair surgery. Due to the nature of his injuries, he spent extra time at PETS ER for hospitalization and supportive care. We received regular updates from PETS to keep everyone up-to-date on his recovery. Less than a week after his surgery, he was able to start moving his tail again! He spent about two weeks in the hospital before he was released back to the shelter where he was placed in a medical foster home until his recovery. Soon after, Bobby found his forever home.
