Hot Dogust Night- the prequel
- A Benefit for all of our Furry Shelter Friends
- Held at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge
- The event includes Rib Eye Steak or Vegetarian Antigua vegetable dinner, a silent auction, door prizes, adoptable animals, and special visit by celebrity guest, Shorty Rossi and Hercules of Animal Planet's popular show "Pit Boss"
- Advance tickets only, NO tickets will be sold at the door. $50 per person or a table of 10 for $500
- Casual attire
- All ages are welcome for one standard ticket price
- Door open at 4 p.m.- silent auction and no-host bar, dinner served at 6 p.m.
A Cause 4 Paws
- Annual event held in Santa Maria, California to promote responsible pet ownership and raise funds to assist homeless and abandoned animals in our three County Animal Shelters.
- The day consists of a pledge walk where individuals and families walk with their dog, or in honor of a live or deceased pet.
- The walk includes teams that compete for the coveted Golden Biscuit Trophy. A perpetual traveling trophy that finds itself with the winning team for the duration of one year, Individuals can also compete for a trophy for the person who brings in the most pledges.
- Pledge walk participants earn valuable incentive prizes for every X amount of dollars they raise.
- The event hosts an array of costume contests, door Prizes, entertainment, food, and a pet fair that includes a variety of vendors, adoptable dogs, as well as a pet carnival.

- Participation in the S.H.A.R.E.S program and the S.H.A.R.E.S card is free and there is no need for you to share any of your personal information.
- All you need to do is remember to swipe the card each time you shop at Food Maxx or Save Mart Supermarkets and they will donate 3% of your purchases to our Foundation to help the animals.
Charitable Giving & Living Wills
- Consider donating to the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation through your place of employment’s charitable giving program. Inquire with your company’s HR department to see how you can help. No donation is too small. Every dollar makes a difference to the lives of homeless animals.
- Consider naming the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation in your living will, May it bring you peace to know that your love and advocacy for innocent homeless animals can continue on?
